Palm os calender update

Works fine, autosync settings a bit buggy, but overall ok. Calgoo Connect: I recently switched to Calgoo, which will do full multi-calendar syncing from iCal to gCal, like spanning sync does, but completely for free.

I think it's free because the local client does the comparison, not a third-party server like goosync so there's not server cost to Calgoo. I then use Missing Sync to hotsync mac to Palm. Changes made on any of the three are correctly propogated to the other 2, and Calgoo sync's on a schedule to make sure I have current data when I hotsync.

I have not tried this with Palm Desktop, but I think it should work. Calgoo saved me from renewing my Goosync subscription, and simplified things by allowing me to grab my calendar data during my overnight scheduled hotsync via freeware palm app Syncer when I'm already syncing anyways to get my updated plucker feeds. Now I don't have to do a manual goosync update later on. Downside: I have to hotsync with my home Mac to get calendar updates, while goosync allows for OTA updates anywhere with a TX, anywhere with WiFi which is good for traveling.

When I tries copying in what I thought would be the datebook file from a backup from a month ago I ended up with the same problem - nothing there. Would be very grateful for any assistance. I use a Tungsten T3 and it always synchs great with no problem until this week.

It says it is performing a hotsync and the screen on the computer shows a hotsync in process but when the process is done, there is nothing on the handheld. IT shows screens to set up as a first useage like country, time, city, etc. ChrisH is from the older Handspring model I had. Been using this for about 5 years.

I have not made any changes to my computer. I simply use the calendar and contacts on the handheld. I did notice that the battery was too low to allow turning on earlier in the week. I don't know what the consequences of that would be. I just posted a similar message - for some reason everything is okay on my phone, but doesn't show up in the desktop application. My desktop spontaneously switched to a media screen and I cannot access my calendar or contacts. This happened when the computer was idle for a week.

I have uninstalled Palm Desktop and reinstalled it twice from the original disc, which is pretty old. Also tried the update to latest desktop. Any ideas on what I might do to retrieve the calendar and contacts?

I still have them on the handheld and have done what appear to be a couple of successful hotsyncs using ir. My operating system is Windows 8, which has been a real hassle since I installed it in October You've posted to a thread that is a couple years old, and this issue has been more recently addressed in this thread. Although I think I had better start looking for a new personal info manager system. Didn't find what you were looking for? Ask the community.
